On April 30th, 2004, Donna was honored to receive Marin Health Fund’s Award for Vision and Achievement (AVA).

Other recipients of AVAs that evening were Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, founders of MoveOn.org; Kim Spencer, founder of Link TV; Carol Spooner, who led the successful campaign to democratize Pacifica Radio; and Lynn Carman, who obtained a federal court injunction against a proposed 5% cut in the MediCal Program.
